On June 4 1918 — 1918 – Washington’s Jim Shaw wins his own game‚ 3 – 1‚ with a bases loaded triple in the 5th against Cleveland. However‚ Shaw injures his leg sliding into third base on the hit and reliever Doc Ayers finishes up for him.
