On May 20, 2009 — 5/20/2009 – The Brewers were playing in Houston. In the bottom of the first inning, Michael Bourn batted first and singled to right. Brewers manager Ken Macha came out to talk with HP umpire Eric Cooper and pointed out that Kazuo Matsui was listed first on the lineup card. Matsui was called out and it was Bourn’s turn to hit. This time, Bourn walked and scored when Lance Berkman doubled. The Astros won despite the flub, 6-4.
