On May 6, 1934 — At Fenway Park, in the bottom of the 4th, Carl Reynolds, Moose Solters, Rick Ferrell and Bucky Walters hit four consecutive triples for the Boston Red Sox en route to a 14 – 4 win over the Detroit Tigers. Reynolds also tripled in the 2nd and all five came off Firpo Marberry. Goose Goslin also hit 2 triples for the Tigers off Rube Walberg.
