On October 5, 1908 — Boston Red Sox pitcher King Brady makes his only American League appearance a good one, shutting out the New York Highlanders, 4 – 0. King had fashioned 1-1 records for both the Phillies and Pirates in the National League, and will go back to the NL with the Boston Doves over the winter.
