Big Ed goes the distance for the White Sox, the game was tied at 1 through 12 innings until the New York Highlanders broke through and scored an unearned run. The White Sox however will deliver a walk-off win when Frank Isbell strokes a bases-loaded single in the bottom half of the 13 of relief pitcher Al Orth, who took over for hard luck starter Slow Joe Doyle. Walsh gave up just 7 hits over 13 innings, striking out 4 walking 2.
