Giant manager John McGraw trades two future hall of famers and gets one back

On November 12, 1923 — Giant manager John McGraw trades outfielders Casey Stengel and Bill Cunningham along with shortstop Dave Bancroft to the Braves for pitchers Joe Oeschger and Bill Southworth. Although the deal will have little impact for Boston or New York, three of the five players involved in the transaction, Stengel, Bancroft, and Southworth, will become major league managers and will be inducted into the Hall of Fame.

Stengel will win 1905 games, win 10 Pennants and 7 World Series

Bancroft, managed the Braves for 4 seasons, and never finished above 500, but he played Shortstop for 2 Time World Champion New York Giants.

Bill Southworth, a solid player, will win almost 60% of his games as a manager and lead 3 Cardinal Teams to the World Series-winning twice and also lead the 1948 Braves to the World Series.
