Stephen Drew hits for the cycle – the first player in franchise history to accomplish it

On September 1, 2008 — In Arizona’s 8-6 comeback victory over the Cardinals, Stephen Drew singles in the first, triples in the third, homers in the fifth, and doubles in the seventh to complete the cycle. The Diamondbacks’ shortstop becomes the third player in franchise history and the first major leaguer to accomplish the feat at Chase Field, which was formerly known as the Bank One Ballpark.
