On May 11, 2000 — Manny Ramirez hits a 1st-inning grand slam and adds a two-run home run in the 6th to lead the Cleveland Indians to a 16 – 0 rout of the Kansas City Royals. The victory, which stops Kansas City’s winning streak at five games, is Cleveland’s most lopsided shutout in 45 years, since the Indians crushed the Boston Red Sox, 19 – 0.
