Jonathan Papelbon passes Bob Stanley for the franchise lead for saves with 133.

On july 1, 2009 At Camden Yards, One day after blowing the lead in a ten-run Baltimore Oriole comeback, Jonathan Papelbon redeems himself saving Boston’s come-from-behind 6 – 5 win over the Orioles.  The Red Sox scored 4 in the 9th to tie the game, then going ahead in the 11th. Papelbon closes the door pitching a perfect 11th inning. The 28 year-old closer, surpasses Bob Stanley for the club record, with his 133rd save in his fourth season with the club.
