On October 12, 1946 the Boston Red Sox board a plane to St. Louis for sixth game of 1946 World Series. L-R Traveling secretary Tom Dowd, Johnny Pesky, Rudy York, Roy Partee, coach Paul Schreiber and Joe Dobson. Red Sox were ahead 3 games to 2 at that time but would drop the last two in St. Louis.
