Sandy Koufax’s perfect game against the Chicago Cubs bests Bob Hendley’s one hit effort, 1-0. The Dodger Stadium gem is the southpaw’s record fourth no-hitter. Koufax strikes out the side in the top of the 9th and fanned a total of 14 Cub’s on the day!
Hendley took a hard loss, the only run was scored on a throwing error when Lou Johnson stole 3rd base after he doubled in the 7th inning. the game featured 2 total base runners and was completed in 1 hr and 43 minutes.
