On October 5, 1991 — Scott Erickson becomes a 20-game winner in his sophomore season when he hurls six scoreless innings in the Twins’ 3-1 victory over Blue Jays at the Metrodome. The 23 year-old right-hander, nicknamed the Prince of Darkness for using a black glove and wearing dark socks on the days he pitches, compiles a 20–8 record along 3.18 ERA for the eventual World Champs.
