In a losing cause, both Ludwig Glaser and Jendrick Speer go deep. Italy and the Netherlands, already set for a match tomorrow in the finale, play a close game. Italy wins, 4 – 3, as Dwayne Kemp just misses a grand slam in the 9th with a long foul. The Rotterdam native had already gone 3 for 4 with a homer before striking out following his long foul drive.
