On June 4 1952 — The Giants push across 2 runs – one earned – in the 4th inning against the Cubs’ Bob Rush to stop his streak of consecutive scoreless innings at 32. Rush (8-2) is still victorious‚ 6 – 2‚ and now leads the National League in strikeouts.
