The MLB Players Trust and Yahoo! Sports announce the selection of Devil Rays first baseman Carlos Pena as the American League Comeback Player of the Year. After missing most of the past two seasons and being told he wouldn’t make the team in this year, the first baseman went on to set Tampa Bay’s single-season records in homers, RBIs, and walks.
