The National College Baseball Hall of Fame announces its naming its new facility in Lubbock, Texas after George H.W. Bush, who was a first baseman and captain for Yale baseball team. The 41st president of the United States participated in the College World Series with the Bulldogs in 1947 and ’48, the inaugural years of the collegiate national championship.
