The Phillies rally for three runs in the top of the ninth, beating the Rockies 5-4 in Game 4 of NLDS

On October 12, 2009 — The Phillies advance to the NLCS thanks to a 9th-inning rally that gives them a 5 – 4 win over Colorado in Game 4 of their NLDS at Coors Field. After the Rockies score three times in the 8th, closer Huston Street is unable to hold the 4 – 2 lead, giving up a two-run double to Ryan Howard and a run-scoring single to Jayson Werth. For the second straight night, Brad Lidge records the save for the Phils, coming to Scott Eyre’s rescue with two on and two out in the bottom of the 9th to retire Troy Tulowitzki to end the game.
