On June 9, 1966 — Trailing 4-3 in the bottom of the seventh at Metropolitan Stadium, the Twins erupt for the first five-home run inning in American League history. Rich Rollins, Zoilo Versalles, Tony Oliva, Don Mincher, and Harmon Killebrew all go deep to give the Twins a 9-4 victory over the A’s.
