On May 30, 2006 — Vernon Wells hits three home runs for the first time in his career and Troy Glaus homers twice to lead the Toronto Blue Jays to an 8 – 5 victory over the Boston Red Sox. It’s the first time two Toronto players have had multi-homer games together since Carlos Delgado hit three and Raul Mondesi hit two on April 20, 2001, against Kansas City. Gustavo Chacin (6-1) is the winning pitcher, Josh Beckett (7-2) the loser.
