John McgrawOn January 4, 1901 — The Baltimore American League club incorporates, with 28 year old John McGraw as manager and part owner. He will win 94 games and lose 96 as there player/manager.

McGraw will move onto the New York Giants in 1902 and will stay there until 1932. Winning 2,583 game, 10 pennants and 3 World Series Titles.
