On June 4 1902 — 1902 – The Boston Americans buy two pitchers – George Prentiss and Bert Husting – from the Baltimore Orioles‚ and waste no time putting Prentiss to work. He starts today in a 4 – 3 loss to Cleveland. Prentiss played under the name “George Pepper Wilson” last year.
