The Cards tie it in the 8th, but New York scores three in the 9th to win, 5 – 3. It’s déjà vu in the nitecap, as McGinnity relieves Hooks Wiltse and the Giants score two in the 9th to win, 5 – 2. McGinnity’s record is now 22-2.
