Cleveland wins, 6 ā€“ 1, behindĀ Cy Young, but Boston wins the nitecap, 3 ā€“ 2.

Ball also records nine putouts at shortstop, another big league first. The diminutive infielderā€™s glove from that game will be enshrined at the Hall of Fame in Cooperstown.
