George Burns had doubled off Dolf Luque, he takes third on Pat Duncan’s error. Heinie Groh goes out to wake him, but the chief umpire ejects Roush for delaying the game. Burns will score the winning run on the next play as Duncan made another error. Jesse Barnes (6-7) picks up the win and Luque (2-1) takes the loss, 5-4 final.
