On September 3, 1924 — 1924: Nip Winters of the Hilldale Club no-hits the Harrisburg Giants 2-0 at Harrisburg’s Island Park. It is the first no-hitter in the history of the Eastern Colored League and the second of Winters’ career. He misses a perfect game when Jake Stephens bobbles an easy grounder.
