On June 16 1993 — 1993 – Ken Griffey, Jr. of the Seattle Mariners hits his 100th career home run in Seattle’s 6 – 1 victory over Kansas City to become the fourth-youngest to hit the century mark. Only Mel Ott, Eddie Mathews and Tony Conigliaro did it faster than the 23-year-old Griffey.
