Jenkins is the 22nd player in major league history to hit five homers in two games and the first National League player to do it in 10 years.

The hit, which many consider a questionable call by the official scorer, is the only one given up by Nomo in the 2 – 0 victory over the Twins. Nomo pitched a no-hitter against Baltimore on April 4th. He will miss another no-hitter on May 25th against Toronto.
