The first bus loads of Hurricane Katrina refugees, formerly housed at the SuperDome in New Orleans, begin to arrive early this morning at the Houston Astrodome. The former home of the Astros will afford the displaced an opportunity to escape the unhealthy horrendous conditions of their former shelter by supplying air conditioning, cots, food, and showers for eventually 25,000 people who are expected to arrive from Louisiana.
