Yankees sign veteran Korean P Chan Ho Park to a one-year contract.

On February 21, 2010 — The New York Yankees sign veteran Korean P Chan Ho Park to a one-year contract. Park pitched against the Yanks for the Phillies in last year’s World Series.

All though he pitched well in the series, 4 games, 3.1 innings and no earned runs allowed. Park didn’t fare well in his final season. The 37 year old was 2-1 with a 5.60 era over 27 appearances. Park was waived in August and the Pirates picked him up. He went 2-2 for the Bucs to finish his MLB career.  Over his 17 year career he went 124-98 with a 4.36 ERA.
