The Mets’ Daniel Murphy breaks his bid with a two-out double in the 8th, and David Wright follows with a single that ties the score at 1 – 1, ending Despaigne’s day. Joaquin Benoit is the winner after the Padres score in the bottom of the 9th for a 2- 1 win.
