In the game that follows the news, A.J. Pollock homers three times to lead the Diamondbacks to an 8 – 5 win over Los Angeles. Arizona has defeated L.A. in six of seven games this year, and 12 of their last 13 regular season meetings dating back to last year – not counting the Dodgers’ sweep of the D-Backs in the Division Series.
