On November 22, 2017 — According to a report in the magazine Forbes, Major League Baseball revenues in 2017 grew for the 15th consecutive year and passed the $10 billion threshold for the first time. The growing value of television rights and increasing ratings are the primary reasons behind this growth, in spite of a slight decline in attendance at ballparks.
