On September 15, 1971 — Astros rookie Larry Yount, making his major league debut, injuries his right shoulder in the ninth inning throwing his very first warm-up pitch of the game. The 21 year-old right-hander, Robin’s older brother, will never get another chance to pitch in the bigs with his only major league experience consisting of that one ill-fated toss to home plate.
