On April 8, 1994 –
Atlanta Braves pitcher Kent Mercker no-hits the Dodgers, 6 – 0, striking out 10 in the process. For Mercker, it is his first complete game in the majors. Chan Ho Park comes on to pitch in the 9th inning for the Dodgers, becoming the first Korean player to appear in a major league game.
