Ken Johnson, Ramon Hernandez, Claude Raymond, Dick Kelley, and Cecil Upshaw all take part in the 3 run 9th that allows St Louis to score 3 runs to tie the game, 4-4. Kelley picks up the blown save. Upshaw will stay in to pitch 5 scoreless innings of relief in the Braves 13inning 5-4 victory.

Hank Aaron had homered for the Braves in the 8th, to give them a 4-1 lead.
