Boston’s win there 9,000th regular season game

On May 10, 2013 — Boston Red Sox Jon Lester pitches a one-hit shutout in a 5 – 0 win over the Blue Jays at Fenway Park. It is the 9,000th regular season victory in Sox history. They are the 10th team to MLB history to reach 9,000 victories and 2nd AL team, they are (in order) the Giants, Cubs, Dodgers, Cardinals, Braves, Reds, Pirates, Yankees, Phillies, and Red Sox.
