Bert Haas played first base in the Major Leagues from 1933 to 1951. He played for the Reds, New York Giants, Brooklyn Dodgers, Chicago White Sox, and Philadelphia Phillies.

He was in Cincinnati in 1942 & 1943 and in 1946 & 1947.
He played in 146 games at 3rd base in 1942 and then 131 games at 1st base in 1946.
In 1947, Haas was selected as a National League All-Star as an Outfielder. He pinch-hit for National League Starting Pitcher Ewell Blackwell of the Reds and got a base hit.

While with the Reds, he played in 530 games, picked up 506 hits, 16 home runs, and a .262 batting average.
