Nicknamed the Chief, his best season was in 1976 when he had 11 triples, 22 SB, .307 BA, & .382 OBP. One of the best defensive center fielders in the 1970s, Geronimo won 4 straight Gold Glove Awards (1974-77) and was an underrated member of the Cincinnati Reds Big Red Machine teams that won 2 World Series titles (1975-76). He is a member of the Reds Hall of Fame.

 

In his 15-year career (1969-1983), Cesar had 977 hits, .258 BA, & .325 OBP.
