Christy Mathewson wins his 21st straight game against the Cincinnati Reds, 5 – 3

On July 26, 1911 — At Palace of the Fans in Cincinatti, Christy Mathewson wins his 21st straight game against the Cincinnati Reds, 5 – 3. He replaces Hooks Wiltse in the 8th and his single in the 9th helps scores a run to help win it off Reds starter Harry Gasper.

Larry Doylr of the G Men goes 4-5 and scores 2 runs in the winning effort.
