Clyde Wright 2nd Angel to win 20 games

On September 16, 1970 — 1970 – Clyde Wright joins Dean Chance (1964) as the Angels’ second twenty-game winner as he beats the Twins, 5 – 1. Bert Blyleven, 19-year-old rookie, ties an American League record by striking out the first six batters. He strikes out 10 in 6 2/3 innings.
