Colts score four times against Sandy Koufax in the sixth to emerge with a 5-4 victory over the Dodgers

On April 14 , 1963 —  At Colt Stadium, the Colts score four times against Sandy Koufax in the sixth to emerge with a 5-4 victory over the Dodgers. Howie Goss drives in two runs. Carroll Hardy and Hal Smith also generate RBI singles. They drive the Koufax from the game after 5 and a third, and pin his first loss of the season on him. It would be rare as he will go 24-4 the rest of the way winning the Cy Young and the MVP award.

Don Nottebart (1-0) picks up the win and Don McMahon his first save.
