On July 25 , 2005 —  Craig Biggio and Lance Berkman set a franchise first by blasting back-to-back homers twice in the same game . It happens in the first and third innings against Cory Lidle during a 7-1 victory over Philadelphia. Jason Lane later blasts the fifth Houston homer. Andy Pettitte works seven solid innings for the win.
