Darin Erstad’s second-inning two-run double off Arizona’s Omar Daal is the Angels’ leadoff hitter’s 100th hit of the season. The hit, coming in the Halos’ 61st game, makes the 26 year-old left fielder the fastest major leaguer to reach the milestone since Hall of Famer Heinie Manush accomplished the feat with the Senators in 1934.
