Hall of Fame catcher Ray Schalk dies at the age of 77

On May 19, 1970, Hall of Fame catcher Ray Schalk dies at the age of 77 in Chicago,Illinois. An excellent defensive catcher, Schalk played in the 1917 and 1919 World Series for the Chicago White Sox. In 1955, Schalk will gain enshrinement in Cooperstown.
