Hall of Famer Mickey Mantle dies from liver cancer at the age of 63

On August 13, 1995, At Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, baseball legend Mickey Mantle, 63, succumbs to liver cancer with his estranged wife Merlyn at his side. One of the most popular players in the history of the New York Yankees, Mantle hit 536 home runs over an 18-year career.
