The historic homer comes in the bottom of the ninth on a full count against Dustin Moseley as the Chicago White Sox DH strokes a two-run walk-off round-tripper to beat the Angels at U.S. Cellular Field, 9-7. Thome is the third player to reach the milestone in 2007, afterĀ Frank ThomasĀ andĀ Alex Rodriguez.
