On June 6 2003 — In interleague play, the New York Mets end the Seattle Mariners’ 13-game road winning streak with a 3 – 2 victory in the first meeting between the teams. It is the longest streak in the majors since the Detroit Tigers’ 17 straight road wins in 1984.
