On August 28, 1970, Juan Marichal of the San Francisco Giants defeats the Pittsburgh Pirates, 5-1, for the 200th win of his career. The “Dominican Dandy” becomes the second active pitcher to reach 200 wins, joining another future Hall of Famer, Jim Bunning.
