Just back from duty in World War II, the Browns were up 3-2 entering the 9th, with 2 on and 1 out, Nelson Potter walked Doc Cramer to load the bases to face Greenebrg, possibly hoping for a double play but he delivers the grandslam to give the Tigers a 6-3 lead.
