Nitkowski in 1998, Chicago’s Wilbur Wood in 1977 and Pittsburgh’s Dock Ellis in 1974. He also plunks Jose Canseco in the 1st inning to tie the major league mark for hit batsmen. Sparks only allows five hits, but walks 6 in addition to hitting 4.
